Servings: 4 small burgers
For burgers:
1 can cannellini beans drained and mashed
5tbsp oat flour
1tbsp chia seeds
3tbsp water
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2tsp onion powder
1/8tsp sage
1/4tsp paprika
1/4tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper
1/2 red onion finely diced
Buns/pita for serving (optional)
1tbsp evoo
Add chia seeds and water to a bowl and set aside. Let soak for about 15 minutes or until all of the water is soaked up.
In another bowl, add garlic powder, onion powder, sage, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper- mix.
In a larger bowl, add mashed beans, onions, oat flour, spice mixture, and chia seeds and mix well to combine.
Split mixture in 4 parts and form balls. Flatten slightly for burger shape.
Add evoo to a pan and add the burgers. Cook about 7 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
(Optional) Dill Pickle Topping:
1/3 cup diced dolls pickles
1/2 cup full fat Greek yogurt
1/4 fresh dill
1/4 cup parsley
1/2tsp garlic powder
1/2tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients and enjoy!
